Safeguarding Review
The purpose of the safeguarding review is to use an evidence-based approach to assess how your school is effectively growing and maintain a culture of safeguarding for students and staff.
Review Process:
• Analysis of the data from the school including attendance, exclusions process and health and safety logs
• Meetings with a named governor, SLT lead for safeguarding key stakeholders
• An independent evaluation of the relative effectiveness of the safety of the school site
• A bespoke action plan making suggestions about how to improve aspects of provision for safeguarding
• Review of all recruitment practices and dip test of Single central record
• Access to a range of materials that can support the school to help improve the quality of its practice.
• Identification of collaborative opportunities to share good practice
• External validation to support school self-evaluation – Ofsted favours these types of external validation of practise.
